Montgomerie Links Golf Course

Montgomerie Links Golf Course was rated Montgomerie Links as one of Asia’s ten most elite courses by the 2012 Forbes Travel Guide. It has a special design to capitalize on its proximity to the warm, tranquil East Sea and famed Marble Mountains. All of them are visible from various points on the 18-hole course.

The overarching philosophy behind all of Colin Montgomerie’s designs is to work closely with the natural characteristics of each site. Montgomerie Links Vietnam has many truly outstanding natural features. The sandy soil, wind-blown dunes, and indigenous vegetation.  They create the framework for a very strong links-style golf course that caters to players of all abilities.

Although the course doesn’t officially have a signature hole, the stunning par-5 12th is truly memorable. Playing slightly uphill to a bunker-riddled fairway, the hole is framed by the clubhouse in the background. This has been the best par-5 in Vietnam.

This is one of the best golf courses in Central Vietnam, located right on the shoreline of Hoiana in central Vietnam, 8 km south of Hoiana Ancient Town Heritage Site. It takes you 45 minutes to travel from the south of Danang International Airport.

Hole 16 is the best hole of this course and one of four right on the sea’s edge. However, green fees are the steepest in the area and tee times are limited.

The 18-hole international standard golf course has marvelous sea views to Cua Dai beach. There are also many natural pine trees, and deciduous plants. If you’d love to both enjoy the majestic beauty of Hoi An and have a round of golf, this destination is perfect for you. The course is not very challenging because of its vast topographic and soft and gentle greens, that help the ball line goes straight.
