Traffic jam Lao Cai – Sapa (36km): During the week-end, lot of private and public vehicules coming from Hanoi. Beside the highway Hanoi – Lao Cai (280km), the local mountain road Lao Cai – Sapa (36km) is quite often blocked by traffic jam. When your helicopter lands at Lao Cai Stadium only, the car transfer from Lao Cai to Sapa is inescapable!
