DAY 1: YANGON ARRIVAL

Morning

- Arrive in Yangon! Our English-speaking tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in the city centre

- Join the sightseeing tour: the first stop is Mahabandoola Park with Independence Monument, Strand Road, and Yangon Jetty 

(If the time allows, we will stop at Colonial building Strand Hotel for a coffee or tea)

- Visit the Botahtaung Pagoda and the shrine of Ahma Mya Nan Nwe, a devotee to the Botahtaung Pagoda

- Stop at Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market, which is the most popular market in the city (closed every Monday & Public holiday)

Afternoon

- 13:00: visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, which stores a colossal reclining Buddha

- Visit the Karaweik Hall Royal barge on the Royal lake for a photo stop and the world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda

- Observe the golden dome light up sunshine at the sunset

- Return to the hotel and stay in Yangon for 1 night

DAY 2: YANGON - FLIGHT TO BAGAN

Morning

- Check in at the airport early in the morning to take a domestic flight to Bagan. Once arrived in Bagan, you will be transferred to the hotel for accommodation

- Visit the colourful Naung U Market and some of Bagan's most famous pagodas including Shwezigon Pagoda

- Explore Kyansittha Uhmin (Cave), Gupaukgyi Temple, which is a 13th-century cave temple with interesting fine frescoes of scenes from the Jataka

Afternoon

- 13:00: Visit Htilominlo Temple with old murals and friezes

- Discover Ananda Temple, which is a whitewashed masterpiece with four standing Buddha Images inside

- Call on Thetbyinnyu Temple, Dhamayangyi Temple and Old Bagan

- Stop by Shwesandaw Pagoda late in the afternoon to watch a beautiful sunset

DAY 3: BAGAN

Morning

DAY 4: BAGAN - MANDALAY – AMARAPURA

Morning

- After breakfast at the hotel, you will get transferred to the airport for the flight to Mandalay

- Once arrived in Mandalay, the driver will transfer you directly to Amarapura

- Visit the traditional hand-weaving silk workshop on the way

- Visit cultural attractions including the Mahagandayon Monastery - a monastic college for young monks,

- Continue to the 1.2 km-long U Bein Bridge, which is believed to be the oldest and (once) longest teakwood bridge in the world

Afternoon

- 13:00: Join the sightseeing tour of Mandalay, first stop will be the Mahamuni Pagoda, gold of hammering

- Visit Mandalay Palace, the last royal palace of the last Burmese monarchy

- Visit Kuthodaw Pagoda. Surrounded by 729 inscribed marble slabs, the pagoda is known as “the world’s largest book”

- Drop by Shwenandaw "Golden Palace Monastery" to observe Myanmar’s finest wooden architecture and the Atumashi Monastery

- The tour ends in Mandalay Hill where you can watch the beautiful sunset

DAY 5: MANDALAY – HEHO

Morning

- After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Heho

- Visit Pindaya Cave - a natural limestone cave, and Shwe U Min Paya - a pagoda full of Buddha images

- Visit the picturesque Boutaloke Lake and a local handicraft workshop which is famous for crafting the traditional Shan Paper and Umbrella

Afternoon

- Take a fresh breath during sightseeing at the base of Pindaya Hill in the later afternoon

- Transport to Nyaung Shwe jetty to take a boat transfer to a hotel in Inle Lake

DAY 6: INLE LAKE (BY BOAT)

Morning and Afternoon

- 8:00: After breakfast at the hotel, you will join a boat tour 

- Visit a market (only on market day) that is located 1328 meters above sea level and 22 km long and 11 km wide

- See the fisherman rowing in the one-legged style characteristic of Inle Lake boatmen, as well as the floating gardens used for growing vegetables

- Stop by the most religious site Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, Silk Weaving Village of Inphawkhon, Burmese Cats House, Cheroot making, and other cottage industries

- The last stop is Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, a beautiful old teak wood building before transferring to a hotel

DAY 7: HEHO - YANGOON – HANOI

Morning

- Enjoy breakfast at hotel, and get transferred to Heho airport for a domestic flight back to Yangon

- Upon arrival at Yangon, you will take an international flight to Hanoi

- Welcome to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam! You will be greeted by our tour guide and transferred directly to the hotel in Hanoi

Note: Check-in time is after 2:00 pm, and you can order early check-in with an additional charge (depending on the availability)

Afternoon

- Free time in Hanoi, you can watch cultural shows such as Water Puppet Show, My Village show, or join a half-day tour (additional charge):

DAY 8: HANOI HALF-DAY CITY TOUR

Morning/ Afternoon 

- 8:00 or 13:30: Explore Hanoi on a half-day city tour, start 

- Visit some historical and cultural sites of Hanoi including:

   + The Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam

   + The iconic One Pillar Pagoda, one of Vietnam’s most iconic temples

   + Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum of the historic father figure of modern Vietnam, and his modest house on stilts. (Sites are viewed from outside; closed Mon and Fri and from Jun - Aug)

   + The picturesque West Lake and the Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda - constructed in the sixth century, where you can learn more about Buddhism in Vietnam

- The tour ends in an authentic Vietnamese restaurant, where you can taste delicious food

DAY 9: HANOI - HALONG BAY - OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE

Morning

- After breakfast at the hotel, the driver comes to pick up and transfer you to Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage of outstanding natural beauty

- Once arrived in Ha Long, the boat crew welcomes you for check-in procedure

- Enjoy a cruise around Halong Bay with delicious local seafood lunch served on board

- Observe thousands of limestone islands and grottoes rising from the clear, emerald water

Afternoon

- Depending on each cruise’s itinerary of the day, you’ll join some activities on the boat to discover the beauty of the bay such as visiting a cave, kayaking, or swimming in the ocean

- Returning to the ship, you can relax and enjoy the sunset party on board

DAY 10: HALONG BAY - HANOI - FLIGHT TO DA NANG

- Have early lunch while the boat heads to the harbour

Afternoon:

- After departing from the boat, the driver will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for the flight to Danang

- Once arrived in Danang, our tour guide will pick you up and take you to the hotel in Hoi An for checking in and relax for the rest of the day

DAY 11: HALF-DAY HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN

Morning

- After breakfast at the hotel, you can discover Hoian on a half-day city tour

- 8:00: Start visiting some of the ancient monuments in the city, including the Japanese Covered Bridge and Fujian Assembly Hall of Chinese

- Stop at a street-side shop to try a cold glass of traditional herbal drink, and enjoy the true taste of Hoi An on your tongue 

- If time allows, you will pass some handicraft stores, at which you could directly see the creation of the most notable souvenirs in town, and take some of them back home

Afternoon and Evening

- Enjoy your leisure time discovering the ancient town

- Wander along old streets, cross several old houses; see how the daily lives of local people are, and witness how historical elements of the town merge with modernity

DAY 12: HOI AN - HUE ROAD TRANSFER

- Enjoy spare time to relax and explore the city on your own

DAY 13: HALF-DAY HUE CITY TOUR

Morning/ Afternoon

- Discover Hue on a half-day city tour

- Visit Thien Mu pagoda, a famous Buddhism pagoda in the centre of Vietnam, located at the bank of the Huong River. 

- Visit the Imperial Citadel, which used to be the house of the Nguyen Royal Family, the last dynasty in Vietnam

- Spend most of the day around the citadel, visiting the front gate, the Flag Tower, and The King’s Palace

- Shop at Dong Ba Market, the largest traditional trading place in not only Hue City

- See the daily lives of local sellers and their way of doing business, as well as buy some interesting souvenirs

DAY 14: HUE - FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH

DAY 15: FULL-DAY CU CHI TUNNELS AND CITY TOUR

- Learn more about Vietnam during the war, crawl along some of the tunnels, or touch a real gun with the firing-gun services here (with an additional charge)

- Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on the way back to Ho Chi Minh City

Afternoon

- Join the Ho Chi Minh sightseeing tour, visiting many famous tourist attractions of the city including the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Old Post Office

- Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the countryside, still untouched by tourism

DAY 19: PHNOM PENH - ROAD TRANSFER TO SIEM REAP

Morning

- After breakfast at the hotel (about 8:30am), our tour guide picks you up at your hotel for the city tour in Phnom Penh

- Visit many tourist attractions in the city including Independence Monument, the Royal Palace, and the Silver Pagoda (The Emerald Buddha temple)

- Explore the National Museum, the distinctive red building with beautiful Khmer architecture, which contains more than 5000 art objects made of sandstone, bronze, silver, copper, wood, and others

- The last stop of the Phnom Penh city tour is Wat Phnom, the only hill in town with sacred sites

- Climb the stairs to the top of the hill for fabulous views of the city below. 

Afternoon:

- Transport to Mekong Bus station for departure to Siem Reap on a 6-hour drive.

- Stop at Arunras Restaurant for the restroom and where you can find your meals or snack. 

- Upon arrival in Siem Reap, meet your guide at Borei Seang Nam station and transfer to checking in at the hotel. 

Evening:

- Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom, start from the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk

- Explore Bayon Temple’s 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King

- Explore Angkor Wat, the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture

DAY 21: SIEM REAP - KAMPONG PHLUK - DEPARTURE

Morning and Afternoon

- 8:00: join a tour to visit Kampong Phluk Floating Village, a Khmer village located 16 km north-south of Siem Reap

- See a variety of wildlife here including crab-eating macaques

   + From March to July (dry season), the buildings in the villages soar atop their 6-meter stilts exposed due to the lack of water. At this time of the year, many of the villagers move out onto the lake and build temporary houses

   + From August to February (wet season), the villagers move back to their permanent houses on the floodplain, the stilts now hidden under the water. Kampong Phluk's economy is, as one might expect, based on fishing, primary in shrimp harvesting

- Free time until transfer to Siem Reap International airport for boarding home sweet home or next destination
