ITINERARY TOUR:

DAY 1: PHNOM PENH - PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR - RV MEKONG PRINCESS CRUISE

Morning

11:30 am: Our guide will wait for you at the RV Mekong Princess, which docks at Phnom Penh Port

After embarkation, the crew onboard will welcome you with a welcome drink and a safety briefing in the Ramvong Lounge

Then we'll have lunch in the dining room.

Afternoon

This afternoon we'll come back to Phnom Penh for the city tour by local cyclos.

You will visit the Royal Palace with Throne Hall and Moonlight Pavilion. A leisure walk in Cambodian Royal Palace will give you a chance to admire the beauty and outstanding perfectly manicured gardens on the campus.

Along the sightseeing walking route, the following is the Silver Pagoda.

After a short break, the tour will end the morning excursion by taking you to the National Museum. Being the location of the oldest collection of Khmer art in the world, which includes 500,000 examples dating from the 4th to the 13th century, as well as an archeological and religious site. They all exhibit the depth and breadth of the culture of the former Khmer Kingdom.

Evening

Passengers come back to the ship to have dinner and relax overnight.

Early Sunday morning, the Mekong Princess will make her way to the Border of Cambodia- Vietnam and complete the formalities.

DAY 2: MEKONG RIVER - VIETNAM - HONG NGU - GIENG ISLAND

Morning

We'll have breakfast onboard and complete immigration procedures for Vietnam

We visit the local island village of Hong Ngu, where thousands of traditional Khmer scarves are made and exported to Cambodia each year. Here, you can see the weaving process and try weaving on your own.

After that, we'll go to a nearby temple honoring Hoa Hao, a distinctive Vietnamese religion.

Afternoon

This afternoon, we'll move to the sampans to Gieng Island.

When we arrive at Gieng Island, we'll walk around the local sampan village, where sampans are produced daily by local families

Then, take a canal drive to explore the mango gardens along the riverbanks. Here, we'll have an opportunity to try one of the most popular local transportation named "xe loi" (motor trishaw) through the island to visit a Phanxico Monastery.

Evening

Return to the ship to have dinner and relax onboard.

The ship sails to Hoa An and anchors overnight.

DAY 3: HOA AN VILLAGE - CAN THO

Morning

- After having breakfast onboard, we continue to visit Hoa An village by sampans, which is untouched and well-known for flower growing and handmade craft

Coming to this peaceful and charming village, we'll visit flower gardens to see many different kinds of flowers and learn how to grow and take care of them

Then, go to another village by motor trishaw to visit the conical hat-making families, chat with local family members, and learn how to create products.

Enjoy your walk in the peaceful village with rice fields and fruit trees in between visiting a few local families.

After morning discovery, we come back to the cruise for lunch and leisure

Afternoon  

This afternoon, the boat sails through an area of the Mekong Delta, and we'll arrive at Hoang Dieu Habor, next to Can Tho City.

A short bus will take you to visit the well-known "Binh Thuy Ancient House," also known as the "Lover House" by French author Marguerite Duras,

After then, let's take a short city tour by visiting the Zhuang Pagoda (Chua Ong) and enjoying the welcome unicorn dances.

The rest of this afternoon is your free time to explore on your own around the charming city

DAY 4: CAN THO - BEN TRE

Morning

In the early morning, a continental breakfast will be served before a bus take you to Can Tho Pier to visit.

We board sampans to explore the amazing Cai Rang floating market. This is one of the largest wholesale floating markets in the Mekong Delta. Coming here, you'll have a chance to witness an exciting local market and daily life on the water.

Enjoy fresh fruit and the Vietnamese “anti-aging drink”, fresh coconut water

Then, we stopped by a local noodle factory to see how traditional noodles are made.

Close the morning by returning to the board to have a buffet breakfast on board.

Afternoon

Complete the port formalities, and our RV Mekong Princess will leave Hoang Dieu Habor downstream the Bassac River to sail through Tra On Rivulet mouth, Nicolai Canal, Mang Thit Canal, Cho Lach Rivulet mouth, and Mekong River.

The ship anchors and docks overnight in the heart of the Mekong Delta in Ben Tre province.

DAY 5: BEN TRE - HO CHI MINH CITY

Morning

After breakfast, sampans will take you through a channel lined with mangroves

When we reach the land, we'll start our journey today by visiting a local coconut candy workshop by one of the most popular local transportation named “xe lam” (Three-wheeler). Here, you can watch the process of candy making and buy some if you like

Continue walking through the village to visit the fruit orchard, where you can learn how the locals grow fruit trees and taste fresh sweet tropical fruits.

Afterward, you will sail through the narrow creeks with Nipah palm on both sides. This is a perfect time to admire the stunning landscape of the water countryside. Don't forget to take some pictures to save the date!

Return to the cruise for lunch as the cruise sails through the Mekong River.

Afternoon

This afternoon, the cruise will sail through the Mekong River to the Cho Gao canal, Vam Co River, Nuoc Man Canal, Soai Rap river, and Saigon river.

At the same time, you will have an afternoon free to join Cooking Class Demonstration by Executive Chef

DAY 6: HO CHI MINH CITY - DISEMBARK

A bus will transfer you from the ship to your nearby hotel or Tan Son Nhat international airport.

• 59 – 31 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 30% per group/booking and plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels… in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
• 30 days – 15 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 50% per group/booking plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels… in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
• 14 – 7 days before arrival: Cancellations fee 70% charge plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels… in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
