DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR HALF DAY – OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO LAO CAI
Partake in visiting famous attractions of Hanoi to learn more about the capital's history and culture.
Morning or afternoon departure is up to your availability.
Your tour will start with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university and the destination of luck for today's students before their essential exam.
The mausoleum complex is the next attraction in Hanoi half-day tour. The complex consists of the iconic One Pillar Pagoda and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where Uncle Ho is sleeping the sleep of death.
Finish your tour by the tranquility of the West Lake and the 1500-year-old Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda.
After the tour, you will have dinner at a Vietnamese Restaurant. Then, be free to relax and wait until 20.00, when the tour guide takes you to the Hanoi train station.
There, you will join in an overnight train journey to Lao Cai (sharing, soft sleeper with air-conditioner, four berths per cabin).

DAY 3: LAO CAI – SAPA – Y LINH HO – LAO CHAI – TA VAN
Arrive at Lao Cai train station at around 6.00; you will head to Sapa on a shared bus. The journey lasts for 1 hour. Then, check in at your booked hotel and relax for a while. Get ready for the Sapa full-day trekking tour
The tour begins at 9.30. You will trek about 6km across Muong Hoa Valley to Y Linh Ho Village, where the Black Hmong live.
Continue trekking 2km to Lao Chai and Ta Van Village, then stop at a local family for lunch.
Trek another 2km to the bus stop in Ta Van to get back to your hotel.

Trekking level: 6/10. 10 km trekking, 8 km driving from Ta Van Village back to Sapa.
DAY 4: SAPA – CAT CAT – SIN CHAI – LAO CAI – HANOI
On your second day in Sapa, you will walk 4 km to visit Cat Cat village and relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station.
A picnic lunch is available by the side of the river. Then you will walk 3km to Sin Chai Village, the village located at the foot of Fansipan, "the roof of Vietnam and Indochina."
From here, you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way back to Sapa. Transfer back to Hanoi by shuttle bus.

DAY 5: HANOI – HALONG BAY
After breakfast and checking out the hotel in Hanoi, you will head to Halong Bay for a 2-day-1-night cruise trip.
The bay is a World Heritage site with the outstanding natural beauty of limestone caves, islands, and beaches.
Upon arrival, get aboard; you will join a welcome party by the crew while the cruise set sail to the bay area. A seafood feast will then follow the sightseeing tour.
After the lunch break, you can participate in visiting caves, kayaking, or swimming. The cruise itinerary will decide which activities are available.
Get back to the cruise for relaxing and dining; you will enjoy your night aboard.
Note: Please be kindly informed that the tour guide will not escort you on the cruises but the crew members who are fluent in English.

After that, it will take you back to the main dock to transfer to Hanoi. Lunch is available on the way back.
On arrival in Hanoi, you will have free time to visit the Old Quarter and try Vietnamese street food by yourself.

DAY 7: HUE HALF DAY CITY TOUR
Hue city is famous for its traditional, historical, and cultural attractions. Our tour guide will take you to some of them on the full-day tour.
First, pay a short visit to Thien Mu Pagoda to immerse yourself in the tranquility and have a fantastic view over the Perfume River.
Besides, you can learn more about the ancient architecture of Vietnam.
Once the capital, Hue has many historical sites to offer. The Imperial Citadel is one of them. Coming here, you can partly explore
Vietnam's pre-modern history and how lavish the royal life was in the past.
Finish your tour with a visit to Dong Ba Market to understand the local daily life; You can also shop for souvenirs here.

DAY 9: HOI AN HALF DAY CITY TOUR
The Hoi An tour is a walking one. It starts at your hotel in the town, across old streets, local houses, historic sites, and ancient monuments. You will then get to the Japanese Covered Bridge at the Fujian Assembly Hall for a short excursion.
Afterward, refresh yourself with a cold glass of traditional herbal drink from a street-side shop.
If time permits, you can drop in some handicraft stores to see the creation of souvenirs in town and take some of them back to your hometown.

DAY 10: HOI AN – DA NANG – HO CHI MINH
On this day, take your time to explore the town independently. Besides, you can have another day tour with a surcharge if you don't know where to go.

The train will arrive in Saigon early in the morning (about 5.30). Then, you will get picked up to have breakfast.
In the afternoon: join in the Ho Chi Minh half-day city tour to visit several famous city attractions.
You will first get to the Reunification Palace, the symbol of Saigon liberation, and the War Remnants Museum to see turbulent Vietnam.
Then, you can pay a short visit to Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office to explore the classical French colonial architecture.
Finally, a trip to the local market will end your tour with a local-like experience. You can walk around, observe, talk to the local sellers to know their daily lives, and shop for souvenirs.
After the tour, return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Free time for the rest of the day

Health requirements
Incoming travelers need to follow the below guideline from the Ministry of Health:
- Starting from 0:00 on May 15, temporarily suspend pre-entry SARS-CoV-2 test requirements.
- No requirement for quarantine.
- Within 10 days from the date of entry: self-monitor your health, if you have symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 infection (fever; cough; sore throat; runny nose, stuffy nose; body aches, fatigue, chills; decreased or lost taste; decreased or lost sense of smell; pain, headache; diarrhea; difficulty breathing; respiratory inflammation...) must immediately notify the nearest medical facility for instructions.
These are based on guidelines from the Ministry of Health.
How to Apply for Vietnam's e-Visa:
Step 1: Prepare the required materials:
- One 4x6 passport photo in .jpg format with a white background, without glasses.
- One photo in .jpg format of your passport data page.
- A passport is valid for at least six months.
- Your temporary address in Vietnam and points of entry and exit.
- Debit or credit card for payment.
Step 2: Click this link or access https://immigration.gov.vn/ or book evisa at: www.vietgreenvisa.com and go to 'E-visa Issuance' then click on the link for 'Outside Vietnam foreigners'.
Step 3: Upload your .jpg images (passport data page and passport photo) and fill out the required fields on the form completely. Submit your form.
Step 4: Pay the e-Visa fee of 25 USD. Copy down the document code provided.
Step 5: Within three working days you should receive news of your e-Visa application via email. If not, you can also run a search for your e-Visa at www.vietgreenvisa.com
Step 6: Use your document code to locate your e-Visa online. Download and print the e-Visa in two copies for extra safety.
TIP: Travelers with an e-Visa can go directly to immigration counters at their point of entry and do not need to queue at Visa on Arrival counters.
Insurance requirement:
- Purchase medical/travel insurance that covers COVID-19 treatment with a minimum coverage: $10,000. This typically costs about USD 40.
Health checks on departure
Domestic travel: Travelers are required to:
- During 10 days from the date of entry, tourists are requested to continue to self-monitor health. If having signs and symptoms of SARS-COV-2, must immediately notify the nearest medical facility.
- Comply with the Ministry of Health’s 4K message: khau trang (face masks), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distancing), khong tu tap (no gatherings).
- Currently, domestic flights restrictions have been reduced until the new update. However, please notice that all requirements might have resulted in changes requirements of the different destinations.
International travel: These follow the guidelines and procedures published by the country you are returning to.
Health and safety precautions for travelers
Visitors to Vietnam are encouraged to take sensible precautions against COVID-19 during their trips.
The World Health Organization outlines these basic practices to keep yourself and your loved ones safe:
- Avoid traveling if you have a fever and cough. If you have a fever, cough, and difficulty breathing, alert health-care services and share with them your recent travel history.
- Maintain social distancing. Stay a meter or more away from others, especially those who are sneezing or coughing, or have a fever.
- Wash your hands regularly with soap and running water. You can also use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer to spray your hands frequently.
- Cover your mouth and nose with tissue when you cough or sneeze. Dispose of dirty tissues immediately and wash your hands after coughing or sneezing.
- Avoid contact with live animals. Wash your hands with soap and water if you touch live animals or animal products in markets.
- Eat only well-cooked food. Make sure your meals, especially animal proteins and dairy products, are thoroughly cooked and prepared in a sanitary environment.
- Discard single-use masks. If you choose to wear a single-use mask, ensure it covers your nose and mouth, avoids touching the mask, and wash your hands after removing it.

1. Deposits & Payment Policy:
- A deposit of 25% of the total of the tour is required upon confirmation of booking tour. You have peace of mind until 2 months before departure dates. At that point, we would require full prepayment only 60 days before departure for all services by money transfer or credit card payment with all bank transfer charges/ fees to be paid by the client.
- All the tour packages on this website operate on a pre-payment basis. Payment can be made either using a major credit card as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express Credit Card, not including credit card transaction fee ( Please add in 3% fee for Visa, Mastercard or 4% for American Express to the total amount of payment each time).

4. Refund of Unused Services
No refund will be given for any unused service after the trip has commenced.
5. Liability
VIET GREEN TRAVEL is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by passengers. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions, and unrest must be borne by the passengers. Passengers are required to have full travel insurance.
Airline schedules and local conditions may affect accommodation and itineraries. Should this occur, VIET GREEN TRAVEL will endeavor to substitute a suitable arrangement of similar value. Participation on any tours implies full agreement to the above conditions by all parties involved.
6. Passport and Entry Visa
Your passport must be valid for at least six months following your entry date to your travel destination.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of a valid passport and visa and all travel documents are valid for travel.
7. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is the passenger’s responsibility to verify whether his/her local health insurance carrier provides coverage while traveling. Please contact your insurance carrier for details.
